Here is a great opportunity for all to get involved with Focus the Nation!

 

Focus The Nation Workshop: Changing our Global Climate Future

 

Saturday, October 6th, from 10 am to noon, Goodwin Forum in Nelson Hall, HSU

 

The HSU Focus The Nation Club and Redwood Alliance’s Climate Protection Project (CAP), in conjunction with the HSU 2007 Leadership Conference, will present a free workshop about the upcoming Focus the Nation event. 

 

Focus the Nation is a nation-wide event about changing the climate future, to be held concurrently on over 1000 campuses across the country, on and around January 31, 2008. 

 

Workshop participants will learn about the national and local Focus the Nation efforts and will take part in committee break-out groups for brainstorming and event planning. 

 

Community members, as well as students and teachers from College of the Redwoods, high school, and junior high schools, are encouraged to attend.
