WELCOME EVERYONE!!

Max shared some inspiring words from Eban Goodstein. He escribed the
plan for the core FTN event at HSU (symposium of many different
speakers and presentations.) Max hopes Pres. Richmond will cancel
classes for that day - Jan, 30th, 2008.
Jeanine said she would prefer asking professors to bring their entire
class to sessions, rather than ask for classes to be canceled. We
agreed that this is a better idea. We talked about how we need to
approach professors, community members, groups, etc and ask them to
present. Max showed everyone the Commitment Form. This form is now
available on the web site for download.

Discussion holding a town hall meeting at our FTN event. Jennifer
suggested concentrating on just the symposium for now, and then focus
on the Round Table culminating event. Nancy brought up the point that
speakers and politicians need to be contacted early. Decision to form
a committee to organize the Round Table discussion.
