"What we will do in the next two or three years will determine our future". That was IPCC chairman Rachandra Pachuari, speaking clearly this weekend about the critical times in which we are living. The panel issued a “last warning” to humanity, stating that we need to slow global warming pollution by 2015 to avert the worst consequences.
Please: Take one powerful action today. Reach out to a friend and ask them to join Focus the Nation. Don’t take no for an answer. Next January 31st, we must make history: engaging millions of Americans and moving this country beyond fatalism, to a determination to face up to the civilizational challenge of global warming.
As we travel across the country, we are asked again and again—is there a way for faith organizations to sign up? How about civic groups? K-12 schools? Businesses? The answer is yes!
