Role: Python Developer
Location: Charlotte or Bay Area (Osnite)
Job Description:
· Strong proficiency in core Python (OOP, data structures, error handling, concurrency) and standard libraries.
· Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication/authorization, and integration with third-party services.
· Participate in solution design and architecture discussions, translating business requirements into technical designs.
· Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; implement unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
· Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure reliability, security, and observability.
· Work closely with product, QA, frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end features.
· Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
· Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and good knowledge of SQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
· Experience with Git-based workflows, code review practices, and agile development methods.
· Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
· Good understanding of application security, performance tuning, and monitoring/logging tools.
