오랜만에 안내드립니다. 지난 주에 대학원생 워크샵에서 community building이 중요하다는 말씀가 "어떻게"까지 제시해주신 김기흥 선생님의 말씀을 받아서 저도 주워들은 이야기들을 좀더 circulate하려고 합니다.

이번에 소개드릴 컨퍼런스는 NSF의 지원을 받은 Science for the People을 돌아보는 컨퍼런스입니다. 당연하게도 Kelly Moore는 확정된 speaker인데, Wisnioski같은 사람이나 Gary Wersky 등도 참여하면 더 흥미로울 것같기는 합니다. 딱 비슷한 시기에 미국에 있으면 가보고 싶은 행사이기는 합니다.

Saturday, April 12

9:00-11:30 a.m., Plenary Panel: “The History and Lasting Significance of Science for the People” — Historians and social scientists discuss key aspects of SftP’s history and legacy, with comments from SftP members and public discussion to follow. Including Kelly Moore, Melanie McCalmont, and others…
