I have begun working with a colleague in the Zoology department at my
university to build modules that use the history of science as a way
of getting science students to better understand the science he is
teaching them, and to appreciate the importance of science's history.

I would be very interested to hear from people who are involved in
doing the same or similar, or are interested in doing so.
The modules were are working on relate to the history of evolutionary
biology, but I am interested in how people are using history of
science to teach science in other areas too.

Also, while we are building our modules for use in undergraduate
education, I would like to hear what experiences people have had in
doing the same in K-12 classrooms.

best,

Piers.

I believe that Michael Clough at Iowa State was doing some work along
these lines.
