Dear Professor,
The Los Angeles Unified School District will be recruiting teachers in the San Francisco Bay Area March 9-13, 2011. We are recruiting Credentialed Teachers in Special Education and Non-Credential in Science to teach middle and high school students.
Please help us find interested candidates by emailing the attached announcement to the students in your Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Education and Liberal Studies Departments. We are excited about the prospect of speaking with your students who may have completed a Teacher Preparation Program or considered a career in teaching.
Students considering a career in teaching may pursue our District Intern Program. The District Intern Program offers the opportunity to earn a Professional Clear California Secondary Single Subject (Grades 7-12) credential in Science Foundations, Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences or Physics. The District Intern Program is a tuition-free and supportive program. District Interns teach full-time, receive salary and District-paid benefits while completing their credential coursework. Thank you for helping us find talented teachers for LA’s children.
