Roles & Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Engineer to be part of vSphere Solution Interop team in CPBU - Bangalore.
This role requires a highly motivated & self-driven Software Engineer with a passion for Quality Engineering and Customer Advocacy. We are looking for someone who likes to work independently in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for solving complex problems involving multiple Solutions.
Our team is responsible for delivering high quality software for vSphere product.
As a part of Solution Interop team, you will be expected to dig deeper into the SDDC stack, understand and create complex customer like use cases, troubleshoot issues at a lightning speed, coding on day today basis and continue to wear multiple hats of Interop engineer, Quality, Tools & Automation Developer & that of a Troubleshooter.
In the current role you are expected to:
- Analyze functional & Interoperability requirements for the SDDC stack; understand customer use case scenarios and enhance Solution Interop coverage
- Able to act independently on one or more projects.
- Drive Initiatives & Innovations, improve overall testing approach that helps to drive process and efficiency improvements
- Initiate and drive cross team/functional activities that help in improving technical expertise and knowledge sharing among the teams
- Define test strategies; Test planning activities and execution.
- Design tests, implement test automation framework and automate tests based on the code changes and integrate them into the continuous integration suite
- Reproduce complex Customer problems and test customized releases to Customers.
- Participate in bug triage activities; manage bugs, drive the activities for the bug to get a closure
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering
- 6+ years of industry experience with excellent understanding of vSphere & SDDC stack.
- Experience and prior exposure to other products in SDDC stack like NSX, vSAN, Horizon View, vRO, vROPs etc. is highly desirable.
- Strong programming language in Java or Python is must have.
- You have experience on Java, Test NG
- Be organized, self-motivated and proactively manage time and tasks
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
