We are glad to announce the opening of applications for the Virtual Flagship Course on Health System Strengthening and Sustainable Financing for India.
In collaboration with the India Health Systems Collaborative (IHSC), Harvard University is organizing a Flagship Course on Health System Strengthening and Sustainable Financing (Virtual) in December 2022 for researchers, academics, and practitioners working in health systems in India.
This Flagship Course in 2022 will deliver a curriculum tailored to strengthen capacity among individuals working in health systems research, teaching, and policy.
The Course will be co-led and co-directed by Prof. Winnie Yip and Prof. Michael Reich from Harvard University. The team will include other senior instructors from Harvard University like Prof. Bill Hsiao and Indian and global experts with experience in teaching the Flagship Course.
The Course approach will integrate lectures, group work, and case studies. Participants will understand the options, opportunities, constraints, and priorities in considering their state’s next major steps toward health system design.
The Course is designed for mid- and senior-level researchers/analysts who are currently advising national/state governments in their health reform and policy formulation efforts. However, those not currently involved but interested in developing their capacities to do so are also encouraged to apply.
