Dear Colleagues,
Between October 2021 and June 2022, a consortium of partners conducted a four-country study to understand better how to bridge the gap between the production of modeled evidence and its use for policy- and decision-making. The main objective of the study was to understand how to bridge the gap between the production of modelled evidence and its use for policy- and decision-making by identifying the factors and approaches that facilitate or inhibit exchange between decision-makers and modelers.
We are honoured to invite you to join us for a panel discussion of our findings and recommendations. Topics discussed will include:
- How has the landscape for modelling changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and what lessons can we draw from this experience?
- How can we make models that are local and relevant to national and sub-national decision-makers?
- What resources do modelers need to ensure that their models achieve impact?
This webinar is open to anyone already working in or with modeled evidence, funders of modelling projects, or decision-makers and partners curious about what opportunities modeled evidence may provide them.
The Webinar is scheduled for 12th October 2023 from 5:30 PM (IST)/ 12 PM (GMT). Please find attached the draft agenda of the webinar.
Interpretation will be provided in English and French. If you have any questions or difficulty connecting, please contact us at research...@accessh.org
