Hi All,
My resource told me that Rice field will not open tomorrow.
Let's have soccer practice at UT field tomorrow 5:30pm, and discuss about the future schedule and plan details.
Thanks and have a nice weekend!

By the way, I still keep the small goals that we purchased last time, and they stay in my balcony for maybe half years already. Hopefully we can still make the best use of them.
Have a great evening!

Hi all soccer fans and buddies,

Hope you all are doing well!  I am asking your opinion for setting up soccer practice at UT field.

As you may know, lately we had issue for using Rice field. I have not been actively joining the practice, and we have a passionate member, Jake, kindly offer to organize the soccer practice at UT field.

Jake is a faculty member with UT, so he has the resource to book the field for us. Still we need to pay about $25 every time. If we have as many active members as we did last year, I assume everyone just need to contribute $1-2 every time. Jake is tentatively proposing for $30 per person for a half year.

I know that UT field is not perfect, but it still offer convenience for many people living around, so please kindly respond to Jake's email to express your opinion, yes or no. We can discuss more details like time, date, and money issues in the follow-up emails.

Please, please remember to reply if you are interested or not, so we can have a reliable resource to play soccer, and no need to worry about field, time, and participants.

Thank Jake for taking this role and thank you all for your response in advance!
Xiaojun

Hi all,

As you may know, we are trying to organize regular Saturday afternoon soccer games at the UT rec center field. According to the person in charge, the rental fee for TMC-affiliated activities would be $25/hr. I heard that they don't really monitor the duration closely so it is possible that we just need to pay for 1h ($25) each time. We will find out for sure after we start making reservations.

I am writing this email to gauge your interest in participation. Please let me know, at your earliest convenience, whether you can contribute $30 as a seed fund for field reservation over the next 6 months. Once I have enough enrollments, I will work on the paperwork and we can go from there.

Thanks for your prompt reply to this matter.

Jake

Hi Wencai,
Good morning!
Are you going to play soccer tomorrow? I can't, but my colleague told me that Rice field is OPEN tomorrow.

Can you send out QQ reminder and  email reminder about time and location if convenient?   Please use the email list below in addition to QQ list, as someone don't use QQ, and my QQ can not receive your message for unknown reason. Call me at 832-380-**** when convenient.
Ken and Jake have new soccer balls we used last time, and I don't know who keep the goals?
