Hi All,

I am about to write a Long email but M in dire state and would want to know some honest thoughts on how this can be taken forward.

Nationality: Indian Visa help: HSMP

Dependant Visa refused of my wife U/S 320 (7a) and we made a fresh application there after and subsequently refused U/S 320 (7B).

Circumstances:
Before my marriage I was staying as a paying guest shaing a room in London and used to pay rent in cash.

I got married in Dec and we filed for my wife's dependent visa in Dec from Mumbai. However thre visa was refused u/s 320 (7a) siting the reason as deception.

I had provided one letter by the tenant confirming the paying guest arrangement, utility bills of the tenant, tenant's contarct with the landlord. Also, the contract mentioned that the tenant was not suppoed to sub let without the written consent from the landlord. So I had asked the landlord to issue a letter to the tenant but he refused in twice and while making the application bundle I signed on that letter which I had prepared.

To our dismay HO contacted the landlord who said he didnt provide any letter. Which is fine however, I am in a bad position now. As even after making a fresh application after moving to the new house HO denied the visa and this time u/s 320 (7b).

I dont want to lie any further and would want to to be honest in this matter as I have decided that I have a better career in India. However, want to give this a tough fight before leaving.

I dont mind going and accepting my fault but am worried about the repurcussions of this on my visa in the future.

I can explain that it was a mistake and the intent was not there to deceive and had that been the case I would ave created an entire contract which was forged.

However, yo guys seem to be more into the topic and would appreciate guidance from each one of you.

Let me know what you think I should do.

Thanks!

- Sohel

Better future in India - are you into politics if yes then certainly a
better future!
sorry do not mean to make fun of things here , as you would already
know how sensitive things are towards Asian people migrating to
foreign land.
I think you are lucky they have not cancelled your visa , no wonder
you are on some 'deception' list of theirs already having them find
out the forged signature on docs is some meat for them.

I am sure you have looked into this option but just in case - can your
wife not apply a regular tier 1 visa ? if yes that way she can apply
independent of your identity.
If you are already in the UK - try to seek advise from a local
consultant there and explain them the scenario and seek advise if they
take up your case and file the application with some supporting letter
or something.

~~~
btw - I got my hsmp done in July but still not moved to uk, last i was
trying to find out the job scene was not recovering looks like its
getting better in the UK now. I am more asking form jobs related to IT
side ?
