Hi Satej,

For English you can appear for IELETS and a score of 6.5 is reqd.. But still your bachelor's degree should be equivalent to the one taught in UK. Can you tell me which list of universities you checked.

Thanks

Hi All,

while going through the Tire1 steps to apply HSMP visa, I found out
that this degree is not listed under the list of Universities/
Institutions of UK NARIC.
Hence my English language qualification is showing me 0 points.
What should I do in order to apply for HSMP? How should I approach UK
NARIC regarding this degree? Please help me out.
I am working in Symantec and having total IT experience of 4 years.

I have gone through the Point Based calculator test present on UK-
NARIC website. One of my friend has forwarded this link to me. There
you have list of Universities listed under specific state of a
country. I didnt found Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth in the list. Now I spoke
with one consultant, and he told me that it is perfectly all right if
you are having BE degree equivalent. You need to take your application
to NARIC and take one approval letter from them so that you can attest
it along with Visa application.
Can you throw some light upon this matter if you have any
knowledge? Again do you know how we can achieve this?
One more and most important point I want to file VISA on my own. Do
you know how much tough is it? As my friend told me that it is very
much easy and straight forward. Help me man. Thanks in advance.

Hi Satej,

Even i will file my visa application by own. Consultants charge 50-80k just for file prepration. You should be really careful with your documentation, other than that there is no problems.
Can you send me that link where you checked the name of the university.?

Thanks
Vinay Kumar

Hi Vinay,
Here is the link:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/general/
Here you can check your Tire 1 Points. While going through the
Tire One Poiint Base System you will find the list of universities.

Thanks
Satej

Hi Vikrant,
I am still struggling. NARIC has asked me to produce the letter stating the status of DNyaneshwar Vidyapeeth. Now the problem is, how should I approach to AICTE as they not at all recognise Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth. I am going to call NARIC for this matter as under the certificate of our final degree it has been clearly mentioned that "DV is not a statutory university under UGC act". I will ask NARIC, what if I produce such letter from Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth itself.

And how you managed to get the employer specific WP? Did your company sent you or you on urself tried out? If we can achieve this from outside please let me know. I am looking for the same.

Thanks
Satej

Vikrant, there seems to be very less chances that NARIC will assess our degree as they have even rejected AMIE application. Check the link below. I think it will be better if you go to NARIC office and contact them as you are in UK.
I dont know much about where the office is situated and how far it is from your place but try and do it. If you want I will give you the details of my application. Thus it will be quite easy for you to interact with them.
Apart from this, if you get any of such case then mail me.

Thanks
Satej

Hi All,
There is a bad news. NARIC has rejected my application for the
assesment of Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth degree. For all Dnyaneshwar
Vidyapeeth- ains, it seems to be a bad news. I am totally
disheartened. Now only way to file HSMP is a dependent Visa with your
spouse.
Do we have any case of Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth student filing HSMP
Visa? May be my way of approaching NARIC was wrong. I am shouting to
the people to contribute. There may be hundrends or thousands may be
seeking for help.

Ragrads
