The bus situation on North Campus has reached an all-time worst. Since arriving back from break, at least the North Campus bus has been absolutely packed every single morning, to the point where residents WALK to different bus stops farther away from their apartments throughout NW to ensure a spot on the bus. Once the bus gets to the main NW stop on Hubbard, it is actually physically impossible to fit on the bus, and residents start violently pushing and shoving to get on, while they grumble and complain about living on North Campus. This is a huge problem usually anywhere between 9am-10:30am.

Not only is this a problem of transportation where residents must walk to Bursley to get on a bus that will likely be equally crowded, we believe it adds to a greater dislike for many residents regarding living on North Campus, constituting it as a Housing issue. As an RA, I have trouble convincing residents in these moments that living on North Campus/NW is still great...and I really DO think it's great. But in these moments of absolutely terrible transportation, I have no choice but to agree with my residents, and I feel equally frustrated. Surely the University must examine this problem and provide adequate transportation for residents to achieve the most basic goal: getting to class on time.
