Peanut Butter Spreaders in the Dining Hall

The spreaders in the peanut butter jars always have peanut butter all over the handles, especially when the jar is nearing empty. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Maybe we could have a separate container for the spreaders so they don't get put back in the jar and get all peanut-buttery, or have longer handles (but not a longer spreader like the ones in Mojo).
