Codacy

Dear all,

since I discovered the service only recently, let me praise a bit "codacy", as I think it could be interesting to others:

It's a CodeChecker as a Service kind of project which you can plug on top of your Github repositories.

Once enabled it will scan them for coding issues which do not necessarily results in compilation error and it will provide a nice web based dashboard, with reports, history and ability to easily mask false positives.

It uses cppcheck for the actual C++ checks:

and it provides checkers for a number of other languages. For basic things it does not require any self-hosted action / compilation / tool, making it's integration with Github projects just a matter of a few clicks.

It's free for Open Source projects and I am not affiliated to it in any way.
