HSF Detector Simulation Meeting on the European Strategy for Particle Physics Update

Dear all,

 

      As a part of the process to update the European Strategy for Particle Physics, the HEP Software Foundation (HSF) is planning to submit a document covering the computing-intensive areas such as Event Generation, Detector Simulation, Reconstruction and Software Triggers, and Data Analysis.

 

      In order to collect input from the community pertaning to the Detector Simulation, we are organizing a meeting on Friday, November 22nd at 1500 CERN time. During the meeting  we plan to discuss key developments since the last strategy update, the main challenges we face in the next decade, and the roadmap to address those.
