Dear all,

We hope everyone had a nice Summer break!

As part of our HSF Reconstruction and Software Trigger WG we are organizing a set of of meeting with an overview of different trigger systems across the HEP physics experiments.
After the first meeting that summarized the cross-talks that ATLAS and CMS had over the course of April and May [1], we are now organizing a second meeting with an overview of the ALICE and LHCb experiments. The presentations will be focused on Run-3 and on the evolution of the trigger and data acquisition systems with respect to previous LHC runs.

The indico agenda is here:

We encourage people from all LHC collaboration to join - even though some of the physics problems tackled are different, many of the techniques used are  similar across experiments (e.g. real-time calibration and analysis techniques) and we can learn from each other.

Looking forward to seeing you on Vidyo and in 40/S2-A01 on Wednesday,

Agnieszka, David and Caterina
