Google Summer of Code update - 19 students accepted

Dear HSF friends,

as many of you have seen already in emails written by Google - this year HSF got 19 student slots allocated - compared to 29 initial project ideas and 63 student submissions. This nicely reflects the high quality of the proposals we got and is a bit more than last year's 17 slots.

In the coming weeks we will have short summaries of each of the projects added to our website.
