Dear CMS Colleague,

The PyHEP 2025 Users Workshop will be a hybrid workshop taking place on October 27-30.

Registration is open, as well as abstracts submission, see https://indico.cern.ch/e/PyHEP2025. There are no registration fees nor a limit on the number of online participants.

Important: The deadline for both registration and abstract submission is just three days away — October 15

The agenda will be composed of standard talks of 30’ for presenting new results or libraries, long talks (40-50’) meant as a pedagogical introduction to a technique, and lightning talks (10’), which can promote packages and tools still in development.

We’re also excited to feature a tutorial by Nvidia on Python CUDA-cccl, offering a hands-on look at GPU programming and performance optimization in Python.

The various sessions will take place in the afternoons on the Central Europe time zone, following the information from the last three years on the times that suit most participants across the globe.

Details can be found on the Indico page https://indico.cern.ch/e/PyHEP2025 or from the PyHEP WG homepage http://hepsoftwarefoundation.org/activities/pyhep.html.

You are encouraged to also join the PyHEP WG Gitter channel (https://gitter.im/HSF/PyHEP) and/or the HSF forum (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/hsf-forum) to get more information about the workshop and community.

We are directly reachable via pyhep2025-o...@cern.ch

Looking forward to your participation!
