This is a gentle reminder about the HSF/IRIS-HEP Software Basics Training at CERN (Hybrid), taking place from June 18 to 20.
This event, which will take place at CERN and also via Zoom, covers the fundamentals of the Unix command line, version control with Git, Python, and data analysis in HEP using Python with PyROOT and tools from Scikit-HEP. It is best suited for newcomers in the field, so please advertise it to your students!
Registration is still open. The deadline to register for in-person participation is June 16. Please follow the indico link below for the details and registration:
