Dear all,
Nikhef has opened two positions for permanent senior scientific staff: one on
computing infrastructure research and innovation for AI and data processing,
and another one on AI and Machine Learning in Physics.
The first position emphasises research on data processing infrastructures
for high-throughput computing, accelerated computing, and dedicated
computing infrastructures for AI/ML. It combines direct engagement across
our physics research programmes with a hands-on approach to systems engineering,
also closely linked e.g. the Netherlands Tier-1 and national e-Infrastructure:

(for more details drop a mail to <
dav...@nikhef.nl>)
And this year our new Nikhef AI and ML group has started! It will establish
a scientific research agenda to develop AI/ML technology with broad
applicability across our particle and astroparticle physics programs.
If you know people who want to contribute to and lead research efforts
in AI and ML for particle and astroparticle physics, and play an
important role in defining the research agenda of the group, please
point them also to the AI and Machine Learning in Physics position as well:

(more details from Wouter Verkerke, <

Application for both position closes on May 20th.
Best regards,
David Groep.
