Dear colleague,

The PyHEP.dev 2024 workshop for developers of Python packages for HEP is now open for registration! This will be an in-person workshop in Aachen, Germany, to be held on August 26‒30, 2024 (5 days).

PyHEP.dev is intended for developers to plan convergent roadmaps for the following year, to ensure that all of our software works well together. It will include presentations by participants, but the focus will be on birds-of-a-feather style group discussions. See https://indico.cern.ch/e/PyHEP2024.dev for details.

This is different from the general PyHEP meeting for both developers and users, which will be a virtual workshop with no conference fee or limit on the number of attendees, as usual. The opening of registrations for the PyHEP User's meeting will be announced separately.

The conference fee is 100€ by IBAN or $115 by credit card (please choose only one method), and registration will be limited to the first 50 participants.

We look forward to seeing you!

The PyHEP working group conveners and ErUM-Data-Hub local organizing committee

Dear colleague,

As a reminder, PyHEP.dev will be held in Aachen, Germany this year, August 26‒30. Just like last year, we’ll prepare for the workshop with async discussions on this GitHub issue tracker. (Check the “closed” tab to see last year’s discussions.)

Are you interested in joining us? If so, here is the registration page, and here is the call for abstracts, both of which close on July 21 (a week).
