8th Rucio Community Workshop – Nov 3–7, 2025 | SKAO HQ, UK | Registration Open!

Dear colleagues,

The Eight Rucio community workshop will take place at the Square
Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) Global Headquarters in the United
Kingdom on November 3rd to 7th.

This workshop will provide a valuable opportunity to examine the
framework’s capabilities in organizing, managing, and accessing large
volumes of scientific data, with a focus on its ability to unify
distributed storage and network technologies across diverse data
centers. We are excited for discussion across all communities using Rucio.

The registration is now open with a deadline of Oct 31. Additional
information, such as the venue, accommodations, and visa info can be
found on the registration page.

We will also include remote options so we encourage registration even if
you cannot join us in person.

We are also inviting community members to submit proposals for talks.
