Leadership Change at DHS Self Sufficiency Program

Many of you may have already heard this news through other channels, but wanted to make sure HSCO members were kept aware of the following change in leadership at DHS in the Self Sufficiency Program.

I wanted to let you know that I am resigning as the director of DHS Self-Sufficiency Programs to take a position as the Multnomah County Human Services director. I’ll be working with Erinn Kelley-Siel and Jerry Waybrant on a departure date and transition plan to ensure the work in SSP continues to build momentum while DHS selects a new SSP leader. 

I have full confidence in the SSP team in the central office and field to not only maintain our operations but to excel during a leadership transition. You did so during the recession when the demand for our services was at a historical high, and will do so as we work to redefine the purpose and delivery of SSP services in the very different Oregon we work in today.

 

I know the work is in good hands and look forward to hearing about continued progress!
