Backpack and School Supplies Update:
Manistee school supplies and backpacks are now available at the Manistee DHHS office front desk while supplies last. I have an assortment of colors, sizes and styles and each pack contains one school supply kit. The requirements are the child must be a Benzie / Manistee resident and have an active DHHS Child Welfare or Assistance case. Feel free to fill out the attached form and deliver the packs or the forms can be filled out at the front desk. Filling them out ahead of time would save time for our RSS unit.
During this weeks Benzie back to school event we distributed around 150 packs and supply kits. If clients missed out on Mondays back to school event, there are a few backpacks remaining in the Benzie DHHS pantry and Bacon has a supply of packs only.
