Tournament Description

The Tahoe U19 Boys Tournament is in its 4th year.  The Tahoe Men’s Tournament now is in its 22nd year, is one of the most popular lacrosse tournaments on the West Coast.  We are once again bringing two teams to the tournament – Elite and Select. Two years ago we won the tournament, and last year we came in 2nd place.

The format of the Tournament is a championship tournament.  The games begin on Friday, and continue through Saturday and Sunday.  Bracket play is Friday to determine seedings, and then the playoff bracket begins Saturday.

Each of our NorCal teams should play 5-6 games depending on how far we go in the Tournament.

Team Lodging and Meals

We have rented two player 3BR condo’s in the Forest Pines complex in Incline Village Units 231FP (Elite Team) and 139FP (Select Team).  These will be available from Thursday night through Sunday morning.  Players should bring a sleeping bag and pillow with them – about half the team will get a bed or couch space, and the remaining members will share a spot on a nice carpeted floor.

We will provide Breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the condo’s – bagels, muffins, eggs, juice, cereal, waffles, fruit.  We will provide lunch on Friday Saturday and Sunday.  These will on the field at the Crosby’s Food Stand.  Each player will be given a coupon good for on Friday and Saturday a pulled pork sandwich, chicken salad, or hot dog, plus cookies or chips and a drink.  There will be a Team Dinner on both Friday and Saturday night at locations TBD.

There will be a meet and greet for tournament players and their families at Bowl Incline, 920 Southwood Blvd, Incline Village, NV; 775-831-1900 (www.bowlincline.com) on Friday evening July 27 from 6 to 8 pm. Bowling and billiards will be available on a first come, first served bases. There will also be light snacks provided. There is no charge for this event.

Transportation

There are a limited number of spots on the Team Van to Tahoe.  It will leave Thursday afternoon, and return Sunday afternoon.  Contact Greg Mengis to reserve a spot on it.

Game Schedules

The Final 2012 Schedule is not yet published.  It will be available here.  We will play two games on Friday.  We will play 2 games on Saturday, and 1- 2 games on Sunday.

All games should be complete by 2PM on Sunday afternoon, if not sooner.
