Can acting become a form of therapy? Can it rehabilitate? Can it teach life skills? Can individuals with communication and expression challenges, especially children on the autism spectrum, be helped to communicate nonverbally using theatrical tools?
The ACCTS & LACE Festival 2018 brings in the new year with 'Body Language' - Theatre for Communication, a Certification Course in Drama Therapy, led by world-renowned theatre instructor, Dr. Parasuram Ramamoorthi from Madurai & assisted by Asha Sarella.

"Proven to educate, rehabilitate and inspire" – this course will run in Pune on 6th and 7th January 2018. It is a very effective training programme for parents, rehabilitation professionals, educators and anyone involved in supporting children and adults with communication challenges,

He uses theatre as a catalyst for developmental growth for students on the spectrum. “This technique brought about a lot of change for children with autism. Children began to look at their parents’ face of the first time.”
