The ACCTS & LACE Festival 2018 brings in the new year with 'Body Language' - Theatre for Communication, a Certification Course in Drama Therapy, led by world-renowned theatre instructor, Dr. Parasuram Ramamoorthi from Madurai & assisted by Asha Sarella.

Dr. Parasuram Ramamoorthi is founder of the theatre project Velvi, and former professor of theatre at Madurai Kamaraj University. He uses theatre as a catalyst for developmental growth for students on the spectrum. “This technique brought about a lot of change for children with autism. Children began to look at their parents’ face of the first time.”
On Saturday 6th January afternoon from 3pm to 6pm Janhavii Pathak, Dance Movement Therapist (Certified by CID-UNESCO) of Purple Feet, will be conducting MOVE…PLAY…EXPLORE, A Dance-Movement Therapy Workshop for parents and children with disability.
On Sunday 7th January afternoon, Anita Narayan, founder and managing trustee, EKansh Trust, will conduct an interactive session for participants, on goal setting, based on challenges and possibilities, and then finding a way to achieve those goals on an individual basis. EKansh Trust works to empower persons with disabilities.
