Hello all,
Good to see some folks this past week! So much work to be done…
I met a student who is doing research that folks might be interested in. Please see below.
Thanks all.

Dear Listserv Members,
My name is Marcela Figueroa, and I’m an undergraduate Anthropology major at SUNY New Paltz. For my senior thesis, I’m conducting a research project on how applied anthropologists understand the political dimensions of their work—including how personal political identity, ethical commitments, and institutional settings (e.g., academia, NGOs, government, private sector) shape their engagement with political issues in research and practice.
This project has been reviewed and approved by the Human Research Ethics Board at SUNY New Paltz.
I’m seeking input from anyone who identifies as an applied anthropologist, broadly defined. Participation involves a short, anonymous online survey (approximately 5 minutes). No identifiers will be collected and your responses will remain confidential and will contribute to a better understanding of the political and ethical dimensions of applied anthropology today.

Thank you so much for considering participation—and for supporting undergraduate research!
Warmly,
