role is a Sr. SW Engineer with .NET and NLP/data Science experience. The Azure
and react pieces are nice to have, but they would need to learn Azure.
• 5 + years’ experience with .NET for production system required (90% work
initially and 50-50 after 6 months)
• 3+ years of Data science experience...more specifically: NLP, OCR, RPA, deep
learning, search quality, and/or semantic search experience (90% work initially
and 50-50 after 6 months)
• Pluses include experience with developing applications that are hosted in
Azure (must be willing to learn), experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Azure
pipelines, and/or React Frameworks desired

preferred.

Business Drivers/Customer Impact
CarMax is looking to bring an additional .NET/Azure resource to help with current customization and in house build efforts. They also have some upcoming NLP, RPA, and datascience work that will be around automating manual process but that work has not been fully scoped yet so the .NET backend along with the Angular or React on the front end will be the most important but the ideal candidate will also have that Data Science piece.
