Role: Healthcare Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote (Preferred – Reston VA, Washington DC, Maryland Area)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations, particularly within healthcare and contact center modernization environments.
The developer will play a key role in building scalable Salesforce applications, integrating AWS services and EHR systems, leveraging Data Cloud, and enabling AI-driven automation through Agentforce to enhance patient and provider experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Configuration
Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, LWCs, and Flows.
Configure and customize Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to meet business needs.
Build Experience Cloud portals for patient, provider, and partner engagement.
Implement Agentforce automations and Data Cloud integrations for intelligent workflows and unified data access.
Support contact center modernization through integrations with AWS Connect and Service Cloud Voice.
Integrations & Data Management
Develop and maintain API-based integrations between Salesforce, AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, SQL DBs), and other enterprise systems.
Enable secure EHR interoperability using FHIR APIs, HL7, Epic, or Cerner integration standards.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to utilize Salesforce Data Cloud for real-time analytics and unified patient data.
Testing, Deployment & Governance
Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality.
Manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines and tools such as SFDX, Copado, or Flosum.
Ensure adherence to enterprise coding standards, HIPAA compliance, and Salesforce governance policies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align solutions with healthcare objectives.
Provide technical input during design sessions, sprint planning, and release reviews.
AI & Emerging Technologies
Support implementation of generative and agentic AI solutions using Salesforce Agentforce and AWS-native services.
Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, case resolution, and personalization through AI-driven automation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of Salesforce development experience in healthcare or enterprise environments.
Proven expertise in Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Hands-on experience with:
Apex, LWC, Flows, and Automation Tools
Agentforce and Data Cloud Integrations
API-based integrations with AWS and third-party systems
Experience building Experience Cloud portals for patients, providers, or partners.
Exposure to FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards.
Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Flosum, SFDX/Jenkins).
