This Congress will host scholars and practitioners of labour and employment relations from all the continents of the world.The theme is Global Trends in Employment Relations in Africa. All friends, collaborators, my old and new students,trade unions and industry friends, and the general public are invited to the official opening of the Congress 9am -12 noon 25 January 2011 free of charge. Those who want to participate in all 3 days activities should register at www.niranigeria.com which also has the detailed Congress programme. The opening ceremony will be addressed by ministers, governors, officials of the ILO, ILERA, and goodwill messages from organised labour and employers, among others.
