Dear All,
⚖️ POSH Act Clarification: Is an IC Required Without Female Employees?

Does a company with 100 employees but no female staff still need to constitute an Internal Committee (IC) under the POSH Act, 2013?

Yes.
The POSH Act is not limited to protecting only women employees. It extends protection to any woman who may visit, interact with, or engage with the workplace, including clients, vendors, interns, consultants, and visitors.

Therefore, every organization with 10 or more employees is required to constitute an IC, irrespective of the gender composition of its workforce.
