Required skills:
1. Typically requires 10+ years of related experience with a BS;
6+years of experience with an MS.
2. A MS in Computer Science/ Telecommunications required.
3. Good background of C or C++ with Unix, preferably AIX on real time
systems in telephony environment..
4. Experience with IP and telecom protocols, signal handling,
semaphores, multithreaded applications, debuggers, AIX, Visibroker,
Oracle desirable.
5. The candidate needs strong software design and development
experience and strong interpersonal skills for working in a team
environment. An understanding of real time, highly available, network
services would be beneficial.
6. Good English communication skills, both oral and written, are
mandatory
7. Analytical problem solving skills are also important.

Job Responsibilities:
Establishes operational objectives and assignments and delegates
assignments to subordinate managers. Objectives are reviewed by senior
management to determine success of operation. Generally responsible
for the management of an organization unit, including the development
and execution of unit initiatives. Contributes to setting direction
and goals of the organization, and functions as an advisor regarding
tasks, projects and operations. Involved in developing, modifying and
executing company policies which affect immediate operations and may
also have company-wide effect. Erroneous decisions will result in
critical delays in schedules/operations and may jeopardize overall
business activities. Manages work through professional staff. This is
considered the first "true" level of management with full
accountability for all human resource decisions. Generally has full
budget and management responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Graduate degree in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication /
Electrical and Electronics / Instrumentation / Software Engineering
2. Post-Graduate degree in the above fields or in Business Management
3. 10+ years relevant industry experience
4. Experience managing teams of 100+ professionals
5. Experience running a software development centre or large
autonomous organization
6. Experience with multi-national companies
