Responsibilities:

*Design & development of SOA (service oriented architecture)
frameworks and services to support the development of on-demand and
real-time dataintegration applications.
*Conduct the design and development on complex frameworks and backend
services and applications.
*Build highly scalable and high performance multi-threaded servers to
support parallel and distributed processing of large data volumes.
*Build complex data processing transformations. Support product
extensibility by providing open SDKs / APIs.
*Provides assistance with, and review of, the load testing team's test
plans and test cases to ensure early and appropriate load testing is
done.
*Works with project manager to identify critical/new components for
early performance profiling or load testing.
*Work closely with a wide variety of teams that include Product
Management, QA, and Product Support to clearly communicate
requirements and resolve issues.

Required Skills:

List of Must: Flex 3 with extensive Actionscript experience; Flash
CS3; XML;
Experience with REST
"J2ME" (also known as "Java ME") is the micro version of Java used for
Midlets (running in the future Cisco Phones)
Platform: Linux, Mac or Windows
List of Would be Nice: Photoshop; Java J;SP/Servlet

Overall Skills
*5 years experience in IT/OO design/development/architecture with Java/
J2EE Design and Development.
*4+ yrs of industry experience in developing mission critical software
components.
*Server-side multi-threaded development experience.
*Ability to work independently without direct supervision and organize/
prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within
established time frames.
*Ability read/write/speak English and possess oral/written
communication skills in order to communicate effectively with co-
workers and management.
*Possess good problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate
alternatives and make timely decisions.
*Knowledge of full life cycle development
*Ability to quickly learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:
*Experience in developing applications using one of spring, OSGI,
ServiceMix, Ant, Eclipse SCA technologies.
*Experience in developing pluggable frameworks.
*Development of backend of enterprise products such as DBMS kernel,
optimization, OS kernel, and cluster file systems, web servers,
application
servers, web service clients
