Humantalents International is 9 years old on 01 October 2009!

Jayadeva published his groundbreaking book titled "Humantalents Management"
in the millennium year. He coined the term "Humantalents" and introduced the
concept of Humantalents Management in place of human resources management.

In his trend setting masterpiece he pointed out that human beings are not
"resources" to be managed like the money, materials and machinery.

He pointed out that human beings do possess resources which he termed as
"talents."

What you manage is not the person but that individual's talents or
strengths.

Managers should pool their teams' talents to produce something that they
cannot achieve individually.

His analogy is that of a conductor of an orchestra with specialist players
of different instruments.

Jayadeva's name was thus entered into the millennium registry of Sri Lankan
personalities, a publication by a leading companies in SriLanka.

In the year 2000, he founded an elearning group called "Humantalents
International" with a view to promoting concept innovations in management
and creativity among HR and other professionals.

Today Humantalents International has over 1,600 members from all over the
world. It is part of HRD Gateway.

Jayadeva also initiated a sister egroup by the name of "HRSriLanka" on the
urgings of the late Major Teoh, founder of malaysiaHRonline and the then
Vice President of HRD Gateway.

Humantalents International has been serving the HRD/HRM communities of
SriLanka and several other countries diligently during the last 9 years. It
shared HRD related material with its members, and through them it had
reached over 10,000 others.

It has helped many members secure new employment. It has brought to members'
notice the many HRD programmes conducted in SriLanka and other countries

I am privileged to send this congratulatory message to all members of
Humantalents International on this happy occasion of their 9th
anniversary -- which, by the way, is also Jayadeva's birthday.

The best is yet to come for Humantalents International, and its found,
Jayadeva De Silva.
