<div>Bratwurst can be found either raw or pre-cooked. Once cooked or heated they are generally served inside a crusty hot dog style roll with toppings. The toppings commonly include mustard, grilled onions, and sauerkraut. A Wisconsin style bratwurst is sometimes topped with a locally made cheese sauce.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The preparation of bratwurst varies. Raw brats can be grilled, boiled, steamed, or braised. Pre-cooked ones are often pan seared, grilled, or even heated in a micro wave. A very common method in the Upper Midwest of the United States is to braise raw brats in beer, then finish them off on a grill. That is my favorite preparation, and the one in the recipe below. I braise on the stove top and then finish them off on a George Foreman Basic Grill.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>George Foreman Grill Cooking Times Bratwurst Recipe</div><div></div><div>DOWNLOAD: https://t.co/DFmjqD9i9C </div><div></div><div></div><div>Serious flaw not to include basic temps and cooking times for the outdoor grill I just purchased very disappointed as I had an older indoor grill and it came with a booklet has anyone found an answer for this?</div><div></div><div></div><div>Um, maybe you have a super-hot oven or something but in mine there is NO WAY to cook bratwurst for 20 minutes and have them be done, nicely brown and crispy. They've been in the oven at 400 on the center rack for nearly 40 minutes as I write this and still need more time. I may have to finish them off under the broiler or I'll be here for hours. I do not have oven temperature issues in general and bake all the time so I'm sorry to have to say this but I think your timing is way off for this method of cooking! Thanks anyway for letting me know that Brats could indeed be cooked in the oven as I did not want to fry them in a pan and the grill is broken! Most recipes act like you cannot cook them in the oven - wrong!</div><div></div><div></div><div>A George Foreman grill can significantly shorten cooking times for many foods. Because foods cook so efficiently on a George Foreman, you may need to get exact cooking times for the foods you intend to prepare. Relying on conventional cooking times may lead to foods becoming overdone on the George Foreman.</div><div></div><div></div><div>This chart illustrates the cooking times for the most common foods cooked on a George Foreman grill. As a general rule of thumb, because the George Foreman grill cooks food on both sides at the same time, cooking times are roughly halved for the grill.
