Is anyone successfully listening to the Economist's audio subscription with Sonos? The Economist seems to put most of the information about the subscription behind their paywall, so I can't figure out how it is distributed - app, mp3s, etc. - and whether that would be Sonos-compatible. (Household is mostly Android, if that matters, but there is one iPad if that helps.)

There's a superb audio edition for each (weekly) issue of The Economist magazine. Every article gets handsomely read in British English, it's very good actually. (I highly recommend it to anyone practising English and interested in current affairs; the speed of reading is at a reasonable pace, easy to follow.)

I'm looking for something similar in French. For now I'm listening to audiobooks and simultaneously reading/following texts; a pretty solid exercise to work on your language, no matter the level. However, I need something more business orientated while being kept up to date at the same time, so something in the likes of a magazine would be best. Anyone here can help pointing me in the right direction?

More about The Economist

"With our podcast audience doubling in the past three years to 5m monthly unique listeners, audio has become our fastest-growing platform and has proven to be an important way to bring our journalism to new and diverse audiences," said Bob Cohn, president, The Economist. "We think the new shows and features that are part of Economist Podcasts+ are a great addition to our strong portfolio."

"The decision to create a subscription tier for podcasts is the logical result of our approach to our business across digital and print: we produce premium journalism for subscribers around the world and make it available at a fair price," said Cohn. "We think podcasting ought to follow that model, and we believe this initiative will enable further investment in our audio offerings."

The Prince was a finalist for the 2023 National Magazine Award in Podcasting and the winner of the Human Rights Press Award for multimedia and Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Award for best audio reporting.
