Just one more reason

Along with the reasons I previously mentioned for switching to Yahoo groups is the fact that I am able to send out a customized welcome email to new members, something that is not possible under Google groups. The current email message sent is listed below, but I do plan to make a few changes to it once I get a better feel for what is needed:
