Installation Issues

Hi -

 

Seem to be having some installation issues -- most likely newbie related. Seeing this error, for example when trying to run the setup via index.php?/install/install

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/html/design/defaulttheme/tpl/lhgallery/index.tpl.php on line 164

 

Any suggestions?

Hi Mike,

I think you need to enable short tags in php.ini to fix this.

Look for 'short_open_tag' and change it to on. 

short_open_tag=On

let us know if that doesn't work.

Never mind on the error above -- just needed to set php.ini to short_open_tag = On

 

I seem to be working thru the other issues that came up
