Hello –

If there is still room, we have the possibility of attending another ballet as a group – we will need 10 students to attend.  Do we have any takers?  Right now there are openings on January 23rd at 10 am and 12 pm, as well as January 24th at 12:00 pm.  Cost is $5 per person.

Please respond ASAP if you are interested.

Thanks!

Anni

Subject: Thank You for Attending Ballet Austin's The Nutcracker School Shows!

Hello Educators!

We would like to thank you for coming to The Nutcracker School Shows! We hope you and your students had a wonderful time! We would especially like to thank all the teachers for organizing the field trip for their students, and for their patience as we transitioned them between their school buses and the theater and back again. It was greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget we have Mozart and the Symphony of Clouds School Shows coming up in January! We would love to see you and your students there! A whimsical collaboration between Ballet Austin and the Pollyanna Theatre Company, Symphony of Clouds tells the story of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s childhood through music, movement, and dialogue. Set against the backdrop of Mozart’s most famous works, the unique combination of dance and theatre offers a look into the young composer’s creative imagination, educating all about his music and the profound impact it has had on society for more than 200 years.

We still have space available for our performances here at Ballet Austin on:

Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00am and 12:00pm

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 12:00pm

We also have tour dates available where we travel to your school. Those available dates are:

Monday, January 30, 2012

Wednesday, February 1, 2012

Friday, February 3, 2012

The cost for the shows at Ballet Austin is $5.00 a person. Cost for shows at your school vary depending on school location and number of shows required. Title I schools in the greater Austin area are eligible for scholarships - please indicate Title I status during registration.

Again, thank you for bringing your students to The Nutcracker School Shows! We hope to see you all at Symphony of Clouds or next year for The Nutcracker School Shows again!

Happy Holidays!

Best,

Pei-San Brown and Kaitlyn Moise

Right now it looks like we’ll be able to attend the ballet.  Are there any other interested takers out there?  Tuesday January 24th at noon appears to be the best day and time, so please let me know right away if you’d like to go.  Payment can be made to me in advance or in cash to me at the door and I’ll write one check for our group.  It is $5 per person.

I will register our group Wednesday by noon, so please e-mail me if you’d like to attend.  If there are any late responders I will do my best to add you to our registration as space allows.

Thanks so much!
