The first International Seminar on Public Health and Education, meeting
in Semarang City, Indonesia this 2nd day of September 2014, hereby
presents this theme for discussing Global Public Health and Education
Issues: Current Situation Analysis and Anticipation for post MDGs Era’s
Challenges. This conference was primarily a response to growing
expectations for a new public health movement around the region and the
globe. Discussions focused on the needs in developing countries, but
took into account similar concerns in all other regions.
