Beta downloads of ACDSee Pro for Mac are available at www.acdsee.com/proformac. Already, more than 2,800 devoted Mac users have signed on to participate in the beta period and provide feedback to ACD Systems developers for use in formulating the final version, which is set for release in 2010. To further bring Mac enthusiasts into the development process, ACD Systems compiled an advisory panel of 50 users to solicit insights on key workflow features that professional and advanced amateur photographers want and need.
At www.365.acdsee.com(Opens in a new window), you can see all your synced photos, and the public can see them too, if you allow it. The attractive, dark image pages show tags and allow comments and downloading. There are some appealing photos on the Popular page, but if you're looking for a social photography experience, it's hard to beat Flickr. Instagram, though very popular, is a different beast, more about social networking than photography, and doesn't offer things like EXIF or even full-size viewing.
Our software library provides a free download of ACDSee Pro 4.5.1 for Mac. The application's installer is commonly called acdseepro-mac.dmg, acdseepro-1-9-475-mac-en.dmg or acdseepro-1-8-443-mac-en.dmg etc. The program is sometimes referred to as "ACDSee Pro Beta".
