3rd International Workshop on Cloud Computing Applications

Upcoming Important Dates for IWCA 2014

August 15 - Paper Submission deadline

September 5 - Author Notification

September 10 - Camera ready paper deadline

December 17 - Workshop date

The IWCA workshop intends to bring academic and industrial researchers, and industry practitioners together to discuss the practical challenges, solutions and emerging research trends in this area. The workshop solicits academic research papers as well as industry experience reports. Cloud is now an established paradigm. Over the past few years, business enterprises have significantly adopted cloud infrastructure and services. There is also a move towards a hybrid cloud model wherein enterprises have control on what data and applications reside on-premises and what goes on the cloud. Furthermore, the increasing adoption of Mobility, Analytics-based applications, and Internet of Things etc., have refocused the attention of enterprises to cloud infrastructure and services. In fact, new types of cloud infrastructures such Mobile Backend as a Service, PaaS for Internet of Things etc. are being proposed in the marketplace. Overall, building applications that leverage the cloud, migrating existing applications to the cloud, or even leveraging the cloud for application development itself, is generating tremendous interest.

Contributions can be a full paper not exceeding 8 pages in the prescribed format, or it can be a short paper not exceeding 4 pages in the prescribed format. All papers will be evaluated for relevance to the workshop, quality of the research, potential to trigger discussions. Go to HiPC Workshops for link to full workshops details at http://www.hipc.org/hipc2014/workshops.php
