I don't know if you all will be able to access this or if it will be firewalled. I'm super excited that the Detroit Historic Designation Advisory Board is doing this designation of the Def Sound Studio; however, if you look at the report linked to the article, you'll see pretty standard hp fare with no oral history or interviews, for example. And shouldn't there be music recordings as part of something like this, too? The reporters for Bridge did some nice interviews for their article, but that's what reporters do.... Anyone know of any more humanities/folklore friendly examples of this kind?
