Eachseason we partner with different artists and source vintage prints to curate a story. Often hand-painted, we find these all over the world to help determine the theme and color palette for each season. Our aim is to bring heritage and fashion together under one roof to create pieces that offer color and joy and also celebrate unique origin stories.

Drawing from the ornate symmetry of Italian architecture, our Palazzo Pant is a statement bottom made to accentuate your style. The wide-leg design features bold prints across flowy fabric, with a side zipper and elastic back for a flattering and comfortable fit.

The goal is to preserve and release the Kostal version of the film, not the Stokowski version. There is already a separate restoration happening for the Stokowski version and it will be far better than anything I could do. If we scan Tech mono I would make two releases - one with the image based as much as possible on the Kostal print scan, the other based on Tech mono, and both with the Kostal soundtrack. I have an 8 minute preview scan of Tech Mono, see below for screenshots of both prints.

Soon I will be arranging the next Disney film or films to be scanned. Thanks so much to everyone who has donated to my projects it really means a lot and has enabled me to get a lot more scanned than I ever imagined!

Reel 1 contained the first 14 minutes of the film (introduction by Deems + Toccata and Fugue in D Minor), and Reel 4 had the other 2/3 of the Rite of Spring. Worst case scenario, the mag print that I have for the soundtrack is thankfully complete without a single splice, so for the time being I can substitute the missing IB Tech reels with the same ones from the mag print. In fact, the plan was to have both prints scanned anyway so that any missing footage from the Tech print could be patched using the mag print scan, whether it was the occasional missing frame or, in this case, a whole two reels of Technicolor footage.

It's pretty incredible to think that Walt Disney's Fantasia has been around for EIGHTY years. Crazy, right? A lot has changed since 1940, yet somehow this groundbreaking achievement in animation has endured and is now as timeless a classic as the legendary music that accompanies each segment.

We are so excited to unveil this sensational print designed by artist Lyndon Willoughby. A fittingly elegant tribute to one of the world's most enchanting films, which radiates with all the wonder, magic, color, and mystery that made us fall in love with Fantasia.

Giclee refers to style of printing used for these art prints. Instead of a standard printing process, Giclee printing results in a far more vibrant and long lasting finish as the ink is essentially "sprayed" onto the paper. This is a far superior method than standard printing.

I use Hahnemhle German Etching Paper which is acid free and meets all the gallery requirements for age resistance. Giclee printing coupled with archival paper has the potentional to last up to 200 years without fading.

An etching of a young soldier seated on a tomb. Inscribed at lower right on the tomb: Tiepolo.

Giovanni Battista Tiepolo was one of the most celebrated painters of eighteenth-century Italy. He began making prints in the 1730s, and his first set of ten etchings, known as the Vari Capricci, are a personal response to the prints and drawings of Salvator Rosa and Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione that he had been able to study in the collections of Anton Maria Zanetti the Elder and Zaccaria Sagredo. The prints have no straightforward or overt meanings, though they generally show groups of figures at rest or in contemplation: soldiers and young boys in pastoral landscapes, a horse and rider with a groom, women and children with goats and other animals. Several prints evoke the ancient or Arcadian world, with figures set alongside tombstones, classical urns and fragments of obelisks; in one print the figure of Death is shown reading from an open book, faced by a group of the living.
