TeamLicense Server is an application with a web interface installed on a corporate server that enables the administrator to control team licenses (also called floating licenses). This way, multiple users can have access to all capabilities of AnyLogic. It can be useful for big companies with distributed teams of employees working with AnyLogic.

The dongle server is shipped with a special USB dongle that keeps the information about licenses: how many of them are available, and how many are used. The server also provides the generated keys with the digital sign.

This way, Team License Server will be installed as a Windows service under a system account. The installation consists of Apache Tomcat (a servlet container and web server), USB dongle drives, and a server application itself.

Having purchased the team license, you automatically get one year of the maintenance and support service for free. When this support service license gets expired, you may purchase its prolongation regularly. Contact our support team at sup...@anylogic.com to initiate the process.

The personal peripherals certification program ensures peripherals (such as headsets, speakerphones, webcams, and monitors) offer rich audio or video quality. Certified devices work (plug & play) with no extra configuration required, and offer call control with Microsoft Teams. The products provide a great experience for end users and administrators.

Native Bluetooth Certified Audio Peripherals Most Bluetooth headsets and speakerphones that are certified for Microsoft Teams are designed to be used with a USB dongle for connectivity to PCs and Mac hosts. Many users have been asking for the option to directly pair their device with the host, because they don't have enough USB ports, or they don't want to have to remember to bring the USB dongle with them when they work in different locations.

Native Bluetooth-certified devices, including headsets and speakerphones, are supported on Windows PCs (macOS may be supported in the future). Devices are tested for audio performance, call control, and Teams button integration, both with and without the use of a USB dongle.

The performance in native Bluetooth mode is impacted by the Bluetooth radio on the host PC, so we recommend installing the latest firmware updates for both devices and Bluetooth radio. A small portion of users may need to continue to use the USB dongle, such as when working in a high-density radio environment, if their PC Bluetooth is heavily used by multiple paired devices, or with certain PCs that have poor-performing Bluetooth radios.

Premium Microphone for Open Office All headsets are tested to provide clear audio, but open office and other noisy environments pose a greater challenge. Headsets with this designation pick up the voice of the headset user but don't transmit the sound of their neighbors.

Meeting room size Shared devices such as speakerphones and cameras have a supported usage distance. Recommended distances may be different depending on the manufacturer. To give customers clear guidance, all shared devices are tested at certification against well-defined rooms sizes and noise environments.

When using the Microsoft Modern Headset with the Teams Desktop application, it is common when attempting to pick up a phone call in our queue, that Teams will freeze or take an extremely long time to pick up calls. On the caller's end, they hear the phone call picked up, but won't hear any sound from me. I believe this may be associated with the Microsoft Team Modern Headset, as I've found that if I were to remove the dongle, Teams will immediately pick up the call and stop freezing outright.

Here is what I've attempted for diagnostic procedures.

I believe I have this narrowed down to the Headset when using the desktop application of Teams. Web Teams does not have any issues since Chrome is handling the interaction between the hardware of the headset instead of the Teams desktop application. I'm unsure of how to report logs for teams

@McKayCTR i have the same issue and it started suddenly like a week ago.... for me it happens also with web version. nothing helped, even reinstalling teams... there was no update of the headset in the meantime.

We have this issue all over the organisation. It started a few weeks ago and comes and goes for all users with Microsoft Modern headset. The fix so far is a reeboot or close teams and shift to another headset.

Thanks for this analysis. I've come to the same conclusion (Windows 11 here).

It has to be related with the USB dongle that comes with the headset since re-plugging it solves the issue with Teams instantly...

Has anyone been able to report any workarounds yet for the Voyager Focus 2 Play/Pause button BT700 USB dongle issue which was previously reported by others?

i.e. when the UC dongle is connected to a PC the headset Teams/Play/Pause button only ever opens Teams. So if listening to music on a phone this headset button cannot be used to start/stop a song because the Teams functionality always takes precedence.

Behaviour only occurs with the dongle. But when the dongle is removed I lost all Teams functionality which is pointless given I bought these specifically for Teams use.

Have contacted HP support who are just sending me useless scripted copy/paste responses & asking if I want a replacement.

At the moment the only workaround I have is taking the headset off/putting it back on if I want to pause/play a song - which is a bit annoying.

Hello, @keiththfc, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager Focus 2.

1. Could you please try pairing the headset to a different PC or mobile phone and check if the issue still persists?

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.

Hi Meghana,

I've tried all of these things. From what I can see I'm not the only one with this issue as that one button has two purposes and there is no option to set a preference for one over the other.

Can someone from your team do the following and tell me what you see:

1. connect the USB dongle to a Windows machine running Teams

2. then pair the headset to this

3. then pair the headset to a mobile device

4. In a music app on the phone play a song

4. Press the headset right earcup Teams/play pause button

My guess is that you will then see the same as me - that the button tries to open Teams rather than pause the song.

Why is there no option to choose the play/pause option as a priority when paired with a phone & a song is playing? Did anyone actually test this?

Regards

Below are screenshot of the MDC and MDIO signals from the USB Dongle from the TLK10232 Development kit. I am having issues talking to the TLK10232 and want to verify that the mdc and mdio signals are correct. The MDC clock doesn't look periodic with 50% duty cycle. Is this okay?

Correct. I'm connecting the USB dongle to our board with the TLK10232. We're going through a bidirectional level shifter to get to the 1.8V I/O on the TLK10232. The plot I've attached is only the usb dongle with nothing else attached. Does the MDC look correct?

Do I understand you correctly in you are trying to wire the USB dongle directly to your board and not run it through the TLK10232 EVM first? If you are doing this, then you must use a bi-directional level shifter on their application board because the USB MCU signals are 3.3V levels and the TLK10232 requires the 1.5V or 1.8V levels depending upon their board configuration. If you do not have a bi-directional level shifter in the signal path between the USB MCU and the TLK10232, then the signal levels alone will prevent any MDIO communication. Is there a way we can get a schematic, picture, and or diagram of your setup to provide a better feedback?

After many successful years, Team Orion has decided to take brushless technology to the next level. Improving on the R10 and R10.1 design is not easy feat. To achieve this, Team Orion has partnered with some of the most brilliant engineers in the field of brushless power technology. Under the name HMX Technology a totally new brushless controller technology has been developed and incorporated into an RC ESC.

Changing the settings of your speed controller with painful pushes on a small button are a thing of the past. Also forget program cards and boxes. The HMX speed controllers can be managed with an advanced Android or iPhone app (ORI65193 BLE dongle required for iOS devices)! We invested a lot of time into the development of a really great app which allows you to easily change settings, save setups or download Pro-Setups from professional drivers.

The setup instructions state that is should be blue? The customer services team say that the dongle will only connect during fall-back when the fibre connection is down. This doesn't seem right as the dongle should always be registered to the mobile network? The fast green flashing LED indicates that it isn't.

I'm getting quite frustrated, especially when I am told that a request has been sent to the back office team to resolve on multiple occasions and that someone will E-mail to confirm. This never happens

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.

As has been explained by the other community forum users in this thread, we'd only be able to assist with residential accounts and customers here. For a Virgin Media Business account and services you'd need to speak with them directly.
