Hello, complete novice here but is there any reason that Yosemite upgrade has slowed down my Microsoft remote desktop to hopeless speed? I work from home and 100% rely on remote desktop. D\esperately need it back up and running at a decent speed. All installed programs work fine; however, caching can be very slow for new websites.

Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved? I'd love to upgrade to Yosemite now to catch the new photos app etc, but last time it mucked up my remote desktop so badly that I had to wipe my Mac and downgrade to Mavericks...and I lost all my files in the process, which was a tragedy. Keen to upgrade but compatibility with Microsoft Remote Desktop is critical. Can anyone advise? Thanks very much.

In the end I will probably bail and just use two ipads, one with a sequencer and one with a Remote Desktop Team Viewer sort of thing. All the remote desktop things are kind of annoying though because it seems Apple doesn't let you minimize them for long before logging you out. The other problem with Duet as well is the non-sub version I have requires a direct lightning connection so I dont think I can hook up a midi device anyway, so two devices are needed. May as well just use AnyDesk which is free and only has a tad more latency, not a problem for my simple preset switching needs.
