New update and features please

This is a great Engineering tool. For custom equations, Please add
field for each variable where a description or info can be
added...such put unit in Hz, or GHz etc. Please also add imaginary
numbers also. Please constantly update this product...it is great.

Hello Sherin,

Thank you for your interest in Formulaic, and your encouraging
feedback.

The current version of Formulaic allows variable names to include
underscores. For example, you can name a variable
"PrimaryCurrent_Amp", or "frequency_GHz". The variable name thus
contains hints to both the unit and scale of the value, which helps
both in writing equations, and in evaluating them. Editable comments
for equations are planned for a future release. The real challenge
with additional features is the limited screen size, and the other
device design choices: For example, adding per-variable-comments would
require them to be displayed somewhere, and there isn't that much
extra space on an iPhone screen as it is.....

We've made a note of your interest in imaginary numbers too. That
would however require quite a substantial change (currently all values
are "real"s) so its not something we can add quickly. The amount of
work required is so large, that we're considering whetherwet might not
simply go fully object-based, and also allow "vectors" and "matrices".
But apart from the original idea and possibly the name, that would
really be a all-together new app.
