Hello

Thank you for posting the new app update but unfortunately it did not
fix the problem.

David

Hello David,

The version of Formulaic that became available on App Store on 30-
Jul-2009 is V2.0.2, which we submitted to Apple on 21-Jul-2009. V2.0.2
solves an issue with user-defined constants.

The issue related to finding a solution for non-continuous equations
is solved by V2.0.3, which we submitted to Apple on 30-Jul-2009.

When we learn about an issue with one of our current applications, we
stop all other development and fix the problem as quickly as possible.
While we can prioritize our work, we don't unfortunately have any
influence over Apple's review process. Every new version, no matter
how small a change it includes, has to go through Apple's App Store
review process before it becomes available. Also, only one version can
be "pending review"; we can only submit the next version once the
previous submission has been approved. As soon as V2.0.2 moved from
"in review" to "available", we submitted V2.0.3 which includes the fix
to the issue you reported.

We acknowledge that the delay is likely to be a disappointment, but
unfortunately there is just the one way to release updates to our
apps, and we can assure that we're working the process as best as we
can. We've had applications approved in three days, while the last
update obviously took nine calendar days to be made available. The
total elapsed time is likely to also be a function of how many other
new apps (or upgrades to the existing 50,000+ apps) are being
submitted to Apple at the same time.

Kind regards,
Hoy Moon

Hello Hoy

Thanks for pointing out the app update process and all the red tape
and delays involved. I have no problem waiting for the forthcoming
update and I appreciate your follow through to resolve these issues!
